The Member representing Eket/ONNA/Esit Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Okpolupm Etteh, has commiserated with the family of the Late Edet Akrasi Akpanika of Osung Okoitak in Idung Ukana, Mkpanak, Ibeno Local Government Area, over the demise of their son and icon, the Late Hon. (Dr) Lucky E. Akrasi, aged 80.

Hon. Etteh, who is the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on University Education, in a condolence message to the deceased family, described the late Akrasi as “a revered community leader, a devout Christian, a role model par excellence and a peace advocate. He was a treasure to the family, church, and the society at large.”

While charging members of the family to be consoled by the indelible memories and positive legacies of the late Akrasi, he prayed to the Almighty God to give the family the fortitude and courage to bear this irreplaceable loss.

The Federal lawmaker was accompanied to the event by his wife, Mrs. Ekaette Etteh.
