
The glowing commendation Rep. Okpolupm Etteh of Eket/ONNA/Esit Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency to Governor Umo Eno for appointing Mrs. Elsie Anietie Peters as the new Head of Civil Service has erupted jubilation within the political landscape of Akwa Ibom State.
In a message of gratitude on Thursday, Rep. Etteh described the appointment as “a powerful affirmation of Governor Eno’s inclusive and merit-driven leadership,” applauding the Governor for consistently recognizing competence, character, and professionalism in building a modern civil service.
According to the federal lawmaker, the elevation of Mrs. Peters, an administrator renowned for her discipline, dedication, and service excellence, has ignited immense pride across his constituency and renewed faith among young people who now see “hard work truly rewarded under the ARISE Agenda.”
While assuring the Governor of the constituency’s unwavering support, Rep. Etteh, Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on University Education, stressed that Mrs. Peters’ depth of experience and administrative insight will further strengthen the State’s civil service architecture.
In a separate message, Etteh extended warm congratulations to the newly appointed Head of the Civil Service of Akwa Ibom State and described her appointment as “well-deserved.”
